This car park offers free parking for 15 minutes.
While this car park isn't the cheapest, it does offer a recurring ‘weekender’ special: if you book online for a minimum of 3 days at this car park, rates will start at $41, instead of $60 - talk about a deal on parking fees!

Mackay Covered Car Park ($280.00 for 1 Week)
Located right across from the Ibis Airport hotel, the Mackay Covered Car Park is a covered lot located right across from the Mackay Airport arrival and departure hall.
The car park itself is suited to protect against a cyclone and, therefore will protect your car from the extremes of any weather conditions.
Not only does this car park protect your car from weather conditions, but also from the chance of anybody accidentally scraping your car as they pull in next to you, as this covered lot has parking bays 20% larger than standard car lots.
