Booking an airport parking space, whether you’re flying from Perth or elsewhere in Australia, is not too dissimilar from purchasing your airline tickets. You can find the lowest prices online, but the most affordable spaces tend to sell out quickly. If you leave finding a parking space until last minute, you’ll find that Perth Airport’s parking rates have increased, and the only spaces left are miles from the terminals. 

Perth Airport owns and manages eleven different on-site car parks, and the fees it charges differ between the various options. Rates are calculated based on factors such as capacity, overall distance to the terminal buildings, how long you will need the space for, and whether or not the car park is covered.

Perth Airport Short Term Parking Rates

If you’re searching for short term parking at Perth Airport, your options are the Short Term Car Park at T1, the Short Term Car Park at T2, and the Short Term Car Park at T3/T4. All are within easy walking distance of their respective terminals, and protected by 24/7 CCTV and patrols. 

These car parks allow you to pay for short 5-10 minute blocks or by the hour, which is ideal when you’re picking-up or dropping-off passengers at the airport. The drive-in rates charged are the same across all three facilities, however booking online and in advance can be up to 30% cheaper when you're staying for eight hours or more.

The first ten minutes of your stay at one of the Short Term Car Parks are free, however the price soon rises to $6.60 for 10-15 minutes, $8.00 for 15-30 minutes, and $13.80 for 30-45 minutes. If you need to park for two or three hours, you’ll pay $23.40, and then $25.40 to park for four, plus an extra 0.59% if you pay by credit card. 

It’s worth noting that online bookings made on the official Perth Airport website are usually only available for stays of at least 8 hours, and after this point, you may want to consider using a long stay car park instead.

Perth Airport Long Term Parking Rates

If you’re planning on parking at Perth Airport for 24 hours or more, there are several official Long Term Car Parks to choose from, including Long Term B, C, D, H & J. Long Term Car Parks J and H service Terminals 1 and 2, whereas Long Term Car Parks B, C, and D service Terminals 3 and 4. 

Both the drive-in and online booking rates for the five long term car parks are identical to one another, so it makes sense to use the parking facility closest to your departure gate. There are free shuttle services which run passengers between the car parks and the terminals, due to their distance from the main airport buildings. 

Drive-in prices start at $28.00 for the first day, and increase to $141.00 for a week, and $215.00 for a fortnight. You’ll save a few dollars if you book online, with prices dropping to $105.45 for one week and $153.80 for two, when you reserve your space a month in advance. 

The airport occasionally organises special offers for longer booking lengths, so it’s well worth prepaying online rather than simply driving up on the day. The online prices quoted below are for bookings made one month in advance.

Perth Airport Regional Car Park Rates

The Regional Car Park is located close to the General Aviation precinct of the airport, and is 2-5 minutes away on foot to the terminal buildings. It is specifically for FIFO workers, travelling on airlines such as Astral Aviation, Cobham, Maroomba Airlines, Skippers Aviation, Maxem Aviation, and Network Aviation. 

The car park is open air, and protected by 24/7 monitored CCTV and security patrols. Drive-in fees start at $27.00 for 24 hours, $52.00 for two days, and $74.00 for three. Booking online can save you up to 30%, depending on how far in advance of time you secure your spot.

Perth Airport Fast Track Car Park Rates

Exclusive to Terminals 3 & 4, the Fast Track Car Park is a premium parking option which offers 230 wider bays, one minute away from check-in. The car park was designed for those taking short trips away, or on business travel, and is often referred to as the ‘Fast Track Business Car Park’ or just the ‘Business Car Park’.

The car park is covered, which provides extra protection against the elements, and protected by CCTV and regular security patrols. Drive-in prices start at $66.00 for one day, $132.00 for two, and $215.00 for three. 

You can save more than 50% when booking online, for durations of three days or more. We tested dates a month in advance, and found that the Business Car Park’s rates dropped considerably. Three days, when booked online cost just $85.15, compared to $180.00 at drive-in. Similarly, prepaying for one week of parking online reduced the price to $169.45, from $368.00. That’s a saving of close to 55%.

Perth Airport Valet Parking Rates

If you’re looking to splash out on valet parking, you can use the official service offered by Perth Airport, in conjunction with Qantas. Perth Airport’s Valet Service is available to passengers travelling from Terminal 3 & 4, and offers convenient, secure airport parking. You’ll need to hand your keys over to the valet team, who will park your car for you. The service is less than a minute away from check-in by foot, so you’ll be at the gate in no time at all. 

If you pay drive-in rates, you’ll be charged $65.00 for the first day, $105 for two days, and $150.00 for three. You can also book online to secure a lower price; fees are approximately 35% - 55% lower for advance online reservations, for stays of three days or more.

Off-site Perth Airport Parking Rates

If you’re looking to save on Perth Airport parking, there are several private, off-site car parks close to the airport. These car parks are not managed by the airport itself, but by smaller companies which can offer customers lower rates and a more personalised service. Since the car parks are not within walking distance of the terminals, they run free shuttle buses to the airport and back. 

If you’re interested to know how much you could save by booking at an off-site car park, we’ve compared Perth Airport long term parking rates in the table below. These include official Perth Airport long term parking prices, and quotes from parking providers such as The Car Port & Spa, Skypark Valet Parking, Hamer Airport Parking, and Bay Airport Parking.

We found that the rates charged by these car parks were generally 20% lower than at the official Long Term Car Parks B, C, D, H & J, for stays of two days or more. One week of parking at Bay Airport Parking, for example, would cost you just $85.00, compared to $105.45 at the airport. A fortnight of parking, at the same provider, is charged at $125.00, against $153.80. That's a saving of 18.73%. 

Off-site car parks operate in a similar fashion to Long Term B, C, D, H & J. You pre-book your parking online, drive to the car park on the day of your flight, then take the free shuttle bus onwards to the airport. On your return to Perth Airport, you call the car park's shuttle bus team to ask them to come and collect you from outside of your terminal. They will assist you with your luggage and drive you back to their parking lot, so you can pick up your vehicle. 

They each have independent pricing systems, so it’s worth shopping around for your travel dates. The car park that is the most affordable for a three day stay in December, might be the most expensive for a week in January. It pays to research and compare multiple options, in order to get the best deal. The earlier you can book the better, as most car parks offer reduced rates to those who secure their parking space at least a couple of weeks before they are due to fly out.
